Lynne Could it be on the 1901 Census as Gilroy? - lots of entries have spelling mistakes and this would be an obvious one. There are about twenty William Gilroys aged 0-20 on there, mainly in the North East of England. The 1901 Census also lists one William Gilray aged 17, in Gateshead. |
