STUART, HELEN etc Re standardisation of the way addresses are stated. Thanks for the comments. I have given my idea based on the way the Census notes them, but I agree that having tried it that way I am now not sure that it would work for us on this site. We are all used to writing the town then the County. To save space I WOULD recommend the use of the Chapman Codes for the Counties. Perhaps the powers-that-be could arrange for SITE SEARCH like other web sites I use. Any more ideas from anyone? Thanks for the replies, Vera |
