Lynne Oakley Thanks for the compliment. I use 'The Master Genealogist' bought from S&G Genealogy Supplies they have the web page and they advertise in the Family Tree Magazine. Also try looking in PC World & others as they have a range of programs. Read all that it says on the box and get the best one you can afford. I have only tried 3 - 'Brother's Keeper' which is very basic, OK for beginners; 'The Ultimate Family Tree' which went out of business so you can't get this now but I could transfer all my data from it, so nothing was lost; and 'The Master Genealogist' which I saw demonstrated at one of our Family History Society's meetings. I knew I had a lot of data so I was treated to the Gold Edition one Christmas. There is a Silver version. 'Family Tree Maker' seems to be a popular one, too. Most are American products but can cater for the British market. Have fun looking for one and get all the info you can from the shops themselves, they know what their best sellers are.
