I must agree with all the remarks about people replying to e-mails. I have sent three e-mails to one person over the last two months about a potential relation of mine on their tree. My Great-grandmother fled to Liverpool nearly 100 years ago, and was never heard of again, and to find out what happened to her would be a great relief to some older members of my family. I have never received a reply. My only objection would be to Jane's remark about serious genealogists. I started tracing my family tree nearly 13 years ago, had a break, and have taken it up seriously again. I am on GenesConnected every day, and am researching almost every night, yet I only have 73 people on my tree and have only gone back to the 1830's, so this is definately not a measure of how serious one is!!
