Lynne Coakley re The Cosy,18 PUMP St, Oldham Rd, Manchester This was a COMMON LODGING HOUSE and in 1891 contained 134 guests. Ref 1891 Census Lancs. RG13 3250,Folio nos.122-126. I could not find it listed on the 1881 census so possibly did not exist then and there were only 4 Pump Streets in Lancs at that time. Hope this helps Vera, Manchester |
