*chuckle* Vivien - Glossop is as Leanne said in Derbyshire, In the north east of the county (the high peak area). Its not far east from the boundary of greater manchester. Its one of those small ironies that you should ask about Glossop, there is a small bookshop in the town that has a copy of a book I was after. I live in Derby in the south of Derbyshire and was looking for the best route up there recently, as it happens I abandoned the plans, due to the peaks the road network in north derbyshire is slow and indirect meaning I could get to London in the same time it would take to reach Glossop. |
