	Janet. There is a 1871 census as there is for 41, 51, 61, 81, 91, and 1901. If you are lucky enough to live in the area where your ancestors came from you can look at the library. If not you have to go to the Family Record Centre in London. It's brilliant there and you can view all the above censi as well as look at the ledgers holding the registration for births, marriages and deaths.
