Vivien My understanding of the interval option in the new names is that it sets the time interval for which names will be treated as new. So if you set it at one day they will be highlighted for one update period, if you set it at ten days then they will show up for a week and a half. Which means that if you have it set at one day and aren't able to get on line for a couple of days you won't be alerted to all that is new since you last looked. Personally I've got it set at 5 which gives a reasonable overlap without too much clutter. |
