I made my first visit to the Family History Centre in Surrey, BC yesterday, and would highly recommend a visit to anyone researching in the Vancouver area. We have 3 to choose from and at the one I visited they were most helpful and friendly. I spent 3 hours there and although I didn't get too much info yesterday they are getting in two microfilms for me, which should be really useful, and gave me a good list of others for future viewing. Thanks for the encouraging replies to my last message, by the way, and I'll certainly remember you, Andrea, if I come upon any useful sites. Diana, sunny Vancouver. |
