I know that the words appear to be simple, but I do not understand what it means. Do I basically have to wipe every detail I have typed in and just leave my details? Then if that is the case and I will be willing to do this, how do I upload it? Computers are not my strong point and I do need someone who can explain this in clear detail because my brain doesn't compute computer language. If anyone can assist I would appreciate it. |

Marie-Anne, A GEDCOM file is a common means of passing different family tree files around. If you look in your family tree software you will find an option to save your file as a gedcom file. Do this then go to Genesconnected and follow the Load Gedcom link near the bottom of the left hand menu and follow the instructions. Should be fairly straight forward. If not ask again and I'll try and help again. Mike |
