Hi, just wondered if anyone can help me? On my great grandfathers discharge certificate from WWI, it states that he had "2 blue chevrons". does anyone know what this means? I know he was a sergeant if that's any help. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks, Lindsay. |

Blue chevrons were generally awarded for tours of duty overseas, do you know the regiment your great grandfather served with?. Mike |
