I started researching my family tree in March 03 and am now totally hooked. I only had around 10 names to start me off and now there are almost 300 and I am addicted. This website has helped of course because it is great to share successes and woes with so many lovely people. I have been met by helpful people at the Family Records Office in London and the Buckinghamshire Records Office. This really is a great hobby to have. Pass on the message - everyone should be having this much fun...! ALison

I started out being fascinated by family history as a child, so fortunately i wrote as much as I could down then , and since I have discovered this site I have an outlet for my obsession! I think it is a fantastic hobby and I am quite happy to bore anyone for hours who is prepared(or perhaps has their shoelaces tied together)to listen! Maxine
