Deleting your messages from the boards

Patricia You can only delete your own messages (the ones with your name in black) and there you will see options which include "update" and "delete". |

it would be good if people who had their queries resolved did delete them, but on the other hand, if the solution found will solve other peoples problems it could be more helpful to leave it up. The same simple problems keep coming up again and again, probably mainly because the answers given the last time are now on the previous 40 messages board, and so it isnt obvious it is there, and I suspect most people give up or lose interest after trawling through the first 40. Would a message archive be a better answer? |

Not a lot of people know this, but... You can delete your own messages from any of the message boards by using the 'Delete' word in red next to your name. Good one, eh? Vera, Manchester LAN |
