I have tried without success to find a place, Kirlee Lane in Houghton-le-Spring on the 1901 site. I have tried all permutations - absolute zip. The only thing I can think of is that there was no such street in 1901. Is anyone able to offer any advice. Terry - Gibraltar |

Terry, there's a Kirklea Road now. Postcode is DH5 8DP. |

Terence, Just put in on 1901 website kir*,where the name of street is,then Houghton le spring.It comes up with Kirklea Lane. Hope this helps. Barbara.Glos. |
