Thanks Margaret. It might sound strange but I half expected them not to be there. I am trying to trace a Riley and Richard Ferguson who I know are on 1891. I am wondering if the Riley and Richard Roban found in 1881 and the right age are one of the same as everything else fits. They were in a workhouse in Bradford so may have been orphans and so changed their names? John |

John The only Roban's listed on the 1891 census are Robert Roban and his wife Grace. They are aged 53 and 50. I can't make out Robert's occupation but it looks like Rioitter. He was born in Gateshead, Co. Durham and she at Bedlington, Northumberland. At the time of the census they were living at 32 Numbers South, Bishop Wearmouth, Sunderland, Co. Durham. Page no. RG12/4126 If these are not the right ones, do you have more details. These were the only Roban's on the census. Of course there could be a different spelling Margaret |

Could someone who has access to the 1891 census see if there is a Riley or Richard Roban, born in Leeds/ Bradford. Thanking you in anticipation. John |
