Terrance, Lastingham is about four miles to the south of Rosedale Abbey and both are close to " Heartbeat Country " on the North Yorkshire Moors. MIKE. |

I may have found a relative but on IGI I have his birthplace as Rosedale Abbey whilst on 1901 his birthplace is given as Lastingham. Both nameplaces are in Yorkshire,so I wondered if they were close to each other and maybe he was born in one place and christened in the other. Anyone up on Yorkshire who can give me a quick geog lesson. Terry |
