Everyone should keep checking how long it is till you can access the search. I was told 3 days yesterday, but tonight it works!! |

It seems to be being rolled out by location (and ISP?). 44 days at home last night. 2 hours at work this morning. Let's see what this afternoon brings! |

When I first tried to get access I was told it would be available in 5 days, but I clicked on the next section and got immediate access to the Scottish section. might be worth playing about with it. This is superb. I have just been on to it and have details of my g g g grandmother's family and their address. I can hardly wait for neighbouring parishes to be added to get info on my g g g grandfather. Robert Greig, Ayrshire. |

FreeCEN was launched today at 1-00pm, new ISP blockswill be added every 12 hours, its being phased to avoid the 1901 mess FreeCEN now needs lots more transcribers, fiche and software supplied, and oodles of help Dave Project manager FreeCEN |
