Hi There is a Benjamin Jones who married a Caroline Tyler at Christchurch, West Dean Glos. on 25 Dec 1845. (IGI on Family search). Confusingly there is also a Benjamin Jones who just married a Caroline of West Dean "about 1860". Christchurch is near enough to Bream for the first one to be a possibility. Now you need to prove it! Thanks for your help. STill none the wiser though. there is another twist to the tale, so to speak. Benjamin Jones was born in Monmouth. There are two different sources, one says Bream and the other says Monmouth but I now know 100% that it is monmouth!! |
