Meryl, Try starting deleting the oldest generation first. You need to delete any preceding ancestors first before you can delete her. So that would be her grandparents, then parents and then her. Crista |

An easier, if more drastic way is, if you have another software package with the info on. Update that one, delate the whole of the tree on GC and then upload a new gedcom file. Shows all your records as being new but much easier. Mike |

I have the wrong mother for my husbands G.father and am having difficulty trying to change her name as it messes up the whole tree,it wont let me delete her and when I change her name she then has the wrong family attached to her. HELP!!!!! Meryl |
