Hi Debra I tried emailing you but it was returned - maybe your hotmail inbox is full! Anyway this is what I said: Hi Debra, I searched for these names using soundex on the surnames and spanning all possible years (not just pre 1881!) but no results at all were found. Guess it's unlikely they were married in Scotland. Trying checking area where their first child was born... Best Wishes Ruth |

Ruth Thankyou so much for looking, Yes I have had a problem with my emails hopefully will be sorted soon. the first child was born in India. I dont even know yet why they were there but that is the fun of it. thankyou once again for your help. Debbie |
