Hi Lauren According to the Genuki site Ince was/is 1mile east og Wigan and Goose Green is/was 2 miles South West of Wigan Ann,Darlington |

Thanks for that Gary, but for all they are both in Wigan they could be at opposite sides of the town. What I am trying to establish is whether they are so close to each other that they could be classed as the "same" place. |

You can easily check these things on the Internet. It took me all of a minute to establish they were both in Wigan by putting the information into Ask Jeeves. |
