american air force in west drayton

I think there was an American base in West Drayton on Porters Way during WW2. It was I believe a supply depot of some sort. The site was later used by the RAF for fighter controller training and by the National Air Traffic Services. The latter still occupy the site.

please can anybody help me, i know very little about my birth father apart from his name carmen or raymond brown and the fact that he was an amercian air force man at west drayton in 1958, does anyone know how to find out any more are there any american airforce records i cn access? please help
