Does anyone have access to an 1871 census, or know if one even exists. Everytime I look for an ancestor, she is listed as as a servant in another household, and I would like to find out who her family was. If anyone can help its a search for a Susan Elizabeth Lovely, who would have been under 10 in 1871. She was probably from the south of england. Its an unusual name, so should be easy to find! |

On familysearch there is a Susan Elizabeth Lovely christened 27/5/1866 at Whaddon, Cambridgeshire, mother Sarah Lovely, father Charles Reed. (There is a Sarah Reed christened at the same church 6/3/1872 but the father in this case is Daniel Reed, not Charles, mother Sarah.) |

Many thanks - thats just what I was looking for. Its really nice to have a forum where people can ask to share resources like this, as not everyone has the same sources. |

Pleased to help and that it was the right one. As it happened it was really easy and you can double-check by following the link on the left to the Church of Latter Day Saints site (familysearch (.) org) and searching on the name. |
