If there is anyone in the Taunton or Chard area who may have easy access to 1841 or 1861 census for Combe St Nicholas I need to find William Hawker born around 1840. I have hit a block with his birth place and there is a discrepancy on the CD version of 1851 census. He was postmaster for Wadeford in 1861 and married Emma Bell in August 1861. Her father William was then a schoolmaster. Would really appreciate any help. Marion. South Glos. |
