Hi I'm trying to find the death of the above. I have him in 1861 as a 2yr old with his parents in Leek, Staffs. By 1871 the family had moved to Oldham,Lancs and he had disappeared by this time and does'nt appear in the 1881 either. He either died in Leek or Oldham. So please someone find me a death of a child between the ages of 2 & 12 in either Leek or Oldham. George |

Hi George There are alot of William Sales Deaths on free BMD for the period you speak of, although not for the same areas. However are you sure that firstly he did die, also that the family didn't move somewhere else between Leek and Oldham. If you are sure these are the only places, plus that he definately did die, then 1837 online is probably your best bet. Regards Maxine |

I only have a record of them living in Leek and Oldham, for all I know they could have lived elsewhere. His father died late 1861 and his mother remarried the following year. George |
