Karen, I looked on www(.)streetmap(.)co(.)uk and found that Ludworth and Wingate are located quite close together. If you also look on www(.)old-maps(.)co(.)uk you should be able to find a map from 100 years ago and you may be able to find a church that they could have married in. Good luck! Tracy |

I have searched lots of sites for Durham and found nothing, could someone help? I have found rellies on 1881 census and they are living in St Helens Auckland. The head was born in Ludworth and his wife in Wingate Durham but I can find no reference to these on any of the family history sites for Durham. My question is are they near each other and if so does anyone happen to know of a possible church nearby that they could have go married in? Karen |
