Hi I have posted for a lookup for the 1871 census in Durham but have had no joy and I have also noticed that several other people have posted with regard to this census and they too have had not response. I gave my local LDS family history centre a call, the info can be found on their web site. They do not hold the 1871 census but you can order it for the district you are after at a small charge.
