I promised to update so here it is. My father was William Charles Whybrew b.3 April 1909 in Southwark He had one brother and four or five sisters. His father was named William Charles as well and he was a "Linkman-restaurant" (?) His brother died in the first world war. All of his sisters are now dead. He maried my mother Helen Ada Fairbairn 4 October 1954 (When I was 9) He died 29 February 1960 and was cremated at Streatham. I am awaiting a copy of dads' B'Cert and can go forward from there. Lots of help from lots of you on the board as well as lots of encouragement. Will update soon. Thanks. Roger, Sussex |
