Could "card room hand" actually be "carding loom hand" which I believe would be connected with the cotton weaving industry.

At a guess 'Seran Houses', could you check it against 1881 and 1901?

Thomas was defintely a Warehouse Boy and address is 14 Seven Houses, with parents and siblings.

on the 1891 census i have found my ggg grandfather but i cant make out his address or the occupation,would be grateful if someone could look and see if they can read it.The name is Cunliffe Grimshaw, oswaldtwistle, lancashire, i need the address and occupation of his son thomas Thanks Christine
