Bernard, I have tried to look on the 1901 census for you with no joy. Really need a little more info. eg ages, were they married in 1901 or after? Found an Arthur Williams aged 27 living in Toxteth Park who was a confectioner. No josephine living with him though. Any children? Did she die before 1901? John |

Bernard as John has said, you need to give a few more clues re approximate ages. I found 1 Josephine STEWART age 9 living with her Grandmother Rachel WILSON, a widow born in Scotland. This was on the 1881 census at 21 Sterling St, Kirkdale, Liverpool. Any chance she could be yours? Sue |

Hi Bernard Did you know that you can access to the 1901 census yourself? The link is on the left hand side of this page under "links" There is also the 1901 census decoder that can help you pull information from the 1901 census without having to pay to view every record. IF you don't have much information to go on the decoder is definately the way to go. To get the decoder , download it from www.censusdecoder dot com- it's free.
