the only James Habberfield i could find (havent done any alt spellings yet) James Habberfield - Head - 67 - Retired Kennelman born Wiltshire NK Frances Habberfield - Wife - 60 born Eckington Worcestershire living in Bunn Street Eckington Worcs if this is not him can you supply any further details hevi |

Thanks for the info, but its not the right James. Mine would have a wife Mary age about 59. May well be spelt with only 1b |

found him i hope James Haberfield (although listed as Haverfield definitely Haberfield on scanned image) b north Petherton Somerset aged 66 - Farmer Mary - wife - agd 60 Walter - son aged 23 (looks like that but could be 33 or 43 got a line crossed through ) all born North Petherton Somerset living at Charmead North Petherton hope this helps hevi |

Thanks, thats brilliant. You've also given me another bit of work to do now on the first Habberfield's you found. I think I found their death registrations, but their are not in my list of habberfields in the 1881 Census. As always more questions than answers |
