Hi, Does any one know if there are searchable records concerning Greenwich pensioners - online? Thanks, Karen |

Do you mean Royal Greenwich Hospital? Don't think that there is anything on-line but the PRO at Kew hold Admiralty records. There are also some early (1700's) BMD's at the FRO. |

Hi, In 1851 Census, my William Noons occupation was also marked as "Greenwich Pensioner". I was therefore wondering if there were further details out there somewhere - and if so where? I know that this was connected to Royal Greenwich Hospital and that the Hospital was for the "relief and support of Seamen" but apart from that i'm unsure if there are records. Thanks, Karen |
