Is the name Rhoda a man or a womans name? As i have a relative from the past with this name. Although this person was married to a Anne. I've never heard of a man called by this name!!

Sounds welsh. One of my neighbours is called Rhoda (female) but some welsh names were used for both sexes. e.g Kenvyn. My sister-in-laws middle name. Which I believe is a mans name too. Sorry could't be more specific. Catherine

I've heard it used as a womans name before, was'nt there a Rhoda in 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here'. Perhaps its like Robin or Robyn - male or female!! Jude
