My mother in law was Emily (known as Amy)Kirkland. She had 2 brothers, Jim (d) and Stewart(d) and 5 sisters, Ellen, Marion,Molly, Isobel, Betty(d) Amy died in 2002, aged 69. Her parents were Fanny (nee Wilson) and Robert and the family lived in Auchenleck. Amy married Joe Bohen in 1954 and with Stewart, Betty and Molly and their families moved to South Derbyshire in 1963. Stewart Kirkland married Kathy and they have 6 children: Michael, James, Robert, Eileen, Kathleen and Pauline, all living in and around Swadlincote, South Derbyshire. |
