Thanks Rosemary, I have emailed you as I think there is a connection there. Can anyone find a George Bushnell living with an Eleanor in the wider Hampshire area if not in Portsmouth? |

Thanks for the efforts but these aren't the people I am looking for :( George and Eleanor Bushnell were at 12 St James Street in Portsea in 1881 if that helps. George was born in Portsmouth but Eleanor was born in Wales. They should be around somewhere as George was still alive in 1901 and Eleanor died in Portsmouth in 1898. This is my great great great grandfather's second marriage - I'm trying to establish whether he had any more children by his second wife, very frustrating at the moment!! |

Max, yes sad but true (but still annoying!) .... out of interest, were any of the infant Eleanor's born in Portsmouth? |

Hi Angela, can i ask What was the address at the time of Eleanor's death in 1898? I will be going to the Portsmouth Library/records office in the next few days and this might help to narrow the search. |

Eileen, I'm not sure of the address when she died as I don't have the death certificate yet. I think I'll just have to put this one to one side for a while! |
