I am trying to trace German ancestors. All I have to go on is my grandmother who was born in Berlin in 1886. Does anyone know of a German genealogical source that might help?

Try www.kindred trails.com this seems to be a site whereby you can look up info on how to research european and international geneaology info, sometimes gives you useful addresses. THough I haven't actually seen a particular site like 1901 or 1881. Catherine
