I need some help! I have details of a marriage extracted from the church records in 1835, did they have certificates in those days? How can I get any more information on their parents? Sara |

some certificates were issued in the church resisters or at least it was possible to get copies as I have some for prior to 1837 that have come down through my hubbys family. sandra |

I have parish registers of marriages that took place where the fathers names and occuaptions are recorded. Sometimes the witnesses are family members too so this is worth looking into. Alison |
