My great grandmother came from Eire, her name was Roast, and she could neither read nor write English, she came from Sligo (town or county?I don't know), how would I find out about her. I know nothing apart from her name,and her daughter - my grandmother Alice Ellen Roast. |

Hello Marion Again Found in 1881 a Catherine Roast aged 26 born Ireland married to Thomas Roast born Essex - Soldier living at 11 Hill St Woolwich. In 1901 they were living at Plumstead - any help? Or there is a John Roast born in Ireland married to Margaret also born in Ireland in 1901 they were living in Kirkdale. Linda |
