Anyone researching Yorkshire should take a look at: www(.)york(.)ac(.)uk/inst/bihr/famhist(.)htm The site is the Borthwick Institute at York University and has a list of Yorkshire parishes with records going back to the 1500's. Only problem is, you have to visit the place, booking an appointment beforehand. I don't know about any charges they may make. Terry |
