Anyone researching Yorkshire should take a look at: www(.)york(.)ac(.)uk/inst/bihr/famhist(.)htm The site is the Borthwick Institute at York University and has a list of Yorkshire parishes with records going back to the 1500's. Only problem is, you have to visit the place, booking an appointment beforehand. I don't know about any charges they may make. Terry

Jane, I'm interested in Yorkshire too, and live in Bognor Regis. Maybe if there are enough like minded people we could all drive up there together, and spilt the costs? Tracy
