Lots of people now using this excellent website are adding relatives without entering the place of birth. Now you may not know the exact town an ancestor was born in, but it really helps other peoples research if you can enter a county or even a country. If you are looking for a Jones born in England it is really helpful to be able to quickly exclude those from Wales! Cheers Beverley |

Beverley, Names without places and dates have been loaded in with Gedcom files. If you enter names manually you have to fill these fields in. If you read back to 7th August on this board and find the message titled "No Details" you can see what a can of worms this is. Alternatively, you can use this URL: http://www.genesconnected(.)co.uk/genesconnected.asp?wci=ThreadedBoard&bb_type=B&bb_orig_key=187060 Crista |
