Could someone who understands the Census Decoder 1901 please look something up for me? Sarah Suter Aged 50 Born Gosport, Hants, living in Alverstoke in 1901 (Tailoress). This lady was my grandfather's aunt and I would like to know if she lived alone in 1901. Many thanks from a complete computer idiot - I'm afraid to use the Decoder as I don't even know what or where the Browser is!! Jacqui Etches |

I had a look for you but can't find any other Suter's living at that address. There could be other people in the household but unless you have an idea of the names you cannot match them with the decoder. Sorry but I think your only option now is to pay to view the household. Sorry I couldnt be anymore help. Susan |

Hi Jacqui I have found your Sarah , all details match, she was a Tailoress. I too cannot find any other Suters in the household, so I think you will have to pay and look at the record. Regards Maxine |
