Does any one know of a website where i can check out births and marriages which took place in the first half of the 1800s in Scotland?Thanks |

Hi Anna, Scotlands People will only show a listing and not the actual record if it was pre 1855. BDM certificates only started then. Before that they were on Old Parish Records. They can be ordered from the site but very expensive. Better to look at the library of History Society if you are in Scotland. Hope that helps. Regards Margaret |
