Mo, I'm confused. How can George and Elizabeth be married on the census? The census was taken on 31st March and the marriage was later. Also, they appear to have an Edith and possibly an Alice living with them. There is a 53 year old Sarah Cook in Lambeth. Crista |

Hi Christa Ihave just had a look at the marriage cert. my info was correct 16th april is on it but perhaps they got wed before but only had the cert.later Iread somewhere that sometimes they only applied for cert.if they needed them so they could have poss.got married earlier Edith was my grandmother's sis but Idon't know of alice thanks for that Ididn't notice it before so perhaps sarah died by census date. There was another witness atwedding Ifound her on 1901 name was Priscilla Nockall don't know who she was. |

Have you any details of Elizabeth's sisters? Could the witness be a sister who was named Sarah after her mother? |
