Searching for Andrew McNally b. 1878 Cardowan, Scotland and his sister Sarah Anne McNally, b. 1881 Mullanbay, Tyrone, Ireland. Living in 1891 with grandparents in Bivenhall, Essex. Would very much appreciate it if someone could help? Grandparents surname would be Ellis - no idea of grandparents Christian names. Aunts called Mary Louisa (Pollie) and Emily. Uncle Frederick. Address could possibly be Bivenhall Rectory. |

Lynda, Many thanks for looking. I have drawn a blank on these also. Even though I have a copy of Andrew's birth certificate I can't find anything on him in the 1881 census either. Believe his parents were living in Ireland at that time. I have come across his sisters birth details on the LDS site. |

Lynda, Don't know if it makes any difference but I made a typing error and it should have been Rivenhall and not Bivenhall! Lynne |

Heather, Many thanks for that. It could very well be her as her father died in 1884 and her mother in 1885. Although from correspondence I have between Andrew (her brother) and their mother's sister it seems that they spent some time with their grandparents. Their Aunt Pollie was still alive in 1929. Thank you very much indeed for taking the time to look. It is very much appreciated. Lynne |
