If anybody out there has an odd cause of death on a death certificate that they need clarifying go to http://freepages(.)genealogy(.)rootsweb(.)com/~tiber/ and click on The Historical Register 1720 as they have some explanations as to their equivalents these days. Jeanette Thanks for that - very interesting! While I was there, I took a look at the Victorian Advertisements. I particularly liked the Tricycle skates and the Victorian version of the exercise cycle - an exercise horse! Janet |
