Buildings Miles Locker head 36 (occupation difficult to read could be let/lap worker/maker????) Lapidary is to do with stones, especially semi precious ones. Jet was a stone much liked by the Victorians for mourning jewellery. So he probably prepared the stones for the jewellers. Jan. |
