I'm trying to use the Batch numbers site, to find people living in Slough, but I can't find which county its in. I've tried London/Middlesex (which is what it says in 1881), and Berkshire, can anyone suggest anywhere else to try? Thanks, Jan. |

Jan, Slough is in Berkshire now, but I cannot guarantee it has always been. Charles. |

Thanks Pat, the trouble is I am trying to find Slough on the IG site, and it doesn't appear under Berkshire, Buckinghamshire or London/Middlesex (which is what it was called in the 1881 Census), so I don't know where to look for it. Jan. |
