Hi everyone,I feel very cheeky asking but I am so very frustrated.I've only been researching for a short while and so far have done very well,BUT...am really stuck with one part of family have zilch info...can anyone help PLEASE?.My grandfather James Robertson Harding was 1 yr on 1901 census (birthplace Middlesex,Enfield)and was listed as lodger with his Aunt and uncle Peter and Elizabeth Deloes in West Derby,Bootle,Liverpool. No sign of his parents there on census or any search sites, all I can gather from old family news was that his parents were GEORGE HARDING and FRANCES ?.,possibly connected with Warwickshire area and they also had a daughter ANNE,who married a JOHN ?ARDING.or HARDING,and had 2 children ANN and JOHN.That I'm afraid is all the info I have and now can you see why I'm at screaming point!!!.It's possible that my G.G.Grandparents were military(nearly all the others are and wait for it more than likely connected with Ireland..not good searching material hey?).Can anyone help me please?????????.Regards,Elaine |

Have you got your grandfathers marriage cert, that would give his father's name which would allow you to search for his birth cert. Ros |
