Jacky I couldn't explain it clearly to you but have a look at www.censusdecoder.com there's quite a bit to read but it's well worth having and it is free. Sue |

I keep seeing mention of a decoder and I am not sure what this is. I do understand about the consecutive numbers in the census and using them for confirmation of same family etc. but is the decoder something different and does it offer more help or information?! I'm waiting for the avalanche of replies.........!!!!!! Jacky :-) |
