Tracey you are correct. St Crux was demolished in 1886 and the Parish Room was built on its site. Its in the Shambles part of York. A famous burial was the headless Thomas Percy 7th Earl of Northumberland. Gary |

Hi Stephen, I think St Crux is a parish in York and it was also a church that was destroyed in 1887. St Crux Parish Hall is now located on this site and it's used as a cafe and venue for special events. If i'm wrong maybe someone will correct me! Tracey, Bolton |

As anybody heard of this before. I presume it to be an old Yorkshire parish but it is possible it is a church in York Any ideas ? Stephen |
